Webinar designed for: librarians of secondary schools, public libraries and teachers
Advanced Placement Source is a multidisciplinary database providing full text of thousands of journals and magazines, that are uniquely designed for high school students. The database, covering a wide array of disciplines from art and multicultural studies to STEM courses, offers students basic research materials to achieve academic success. This database is available on the EBSCOhost or Explora platform. In addition to the content of the database, we will also introduce the Explora interface, which makes it easier for young students to start searching in electronic resources and prepares them for more advanced work with academic resources.
In addition, most of the records in the database are equipped with Lexile Measures, which provide educators with an estimate of the search result’s reading difficulty and the approximate reading ability level required for comprehension.
